If in India, don’t miss Iran water lily fest

International Film Festival "Nilofer-E Aabi" (water lily) organized by Iran is underway in India.

The fest mounted by Culture House of the I.R. of Iran in Mumbai hosts 8 short and 5 feature films from various countries.

The Director of Culture House of the I.R. of Iran in Mumbai, Mr. Mahdi Zare-Bieib, attended the opening along with many stars from India cinema and TV Industry.

Jury member of the event, Iranian actor/director Azar Faramarzi, was also present at the inauguration ceremony.

The Iranian female director will review submissions from Iran, Germany, Russia, India, Tajikistan, South Korea and Myanmar.

Born in the capital city of Tehran, Iranian actress, producer and director Azar Faramarzi is a Film and TV Direction graduate from Symbiosis International (Deemed University) in India and has also been acting in television series and films for some years. The artist has completed at least four short films, two documentaries and two fictional films.

She has acted as jury member at the Third Eye Asian Film Festival, India in 2010 and 2014. Faramarzi was also selected for the jury at the World Film Festival in San Francisco which took place in 2016.

 The event will come to an end on July 28, 2018.
